Album Review : Mudvayne - Lost And Found

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I got hold of the album off some mp3 site about a week before the actual release date. The album is brilliant!! Mudvayne still stick to their nu-metal roots but have found a balance between heavy and melodic. Chad Gray's vocal delivery in this album is astounding as he switches from low key choruses to loud shrieks in a matter of seconds. Ryan Martinie playing gut wrenching work on the bass is brilliant and he shines through the whole album.

People are complaining that Mudvayne have gone 'mainstream', but what's the big deal with that??!! Bands can't remain underground forever. They all want the glory, the fame and the moolah! The only thing I can conclusively say is that Mudvayne in no way have compromised on their music and haven't altered their style whatsoever to jump on board the "NWOAHM" bandwagon. Songs worth checking out are:

1.Determined (second single off the album featuring an initial gruesome drum attack)
2.Happy? (the first single off the album and the most radio 'friendly')
3.Pushing Through
4.Fall Into Sleep
5.Forget To Remember
